The lesson mainly focused on teaching vocabulary and grammar and the approach one must take in order to have a successful experience.
I learned that the ESA methods, whether it is the straight arrow, boomerang or patchwork approach, can be applied to teaching grammar and vocabulary. The straight arrow approach however, is usually applied to teaching grammar and vocabulary based lessons and function type lessons can be more dynamic using the boomerang or patchwork methods.
