This unit we explored managing the classroom. Some of the factors to take into account are the classroom space and how it is set up, managing TTT and STT to ensure that a good rapport is built and students gain confidence and experience learning from each other and so that students can also learn from the teacher at the most beneficial times. We also learned about how teachers should engage with students, when to speak to praise and acknowledge success and when to take control to attend to disciplinary matters.
