In this unit I learned the importance of developing the receptive skills- reading and listening when learning a new language. I learned numerous ways that could make learning easier for the students, such as choosing topics of interest to them, as well as pre-teaching difficult vocabulary and how that can be beneficial when it comes to the learning of the student. I am ready to utilize the information I learned in this lesson in order to become the best teacher I can be and to really help out my students when learning English.
