This unit was a look at teaching methods and in particular the ESA (Engage, Study, Activate) method. It covered how to engage the classroom to keep the students and the teachers' interest by adding variety in how the language was learned. It emphasized that the student should be active in the learning process including when the student was corrected. In other words, the engaged student is a learning student. Having a teaching degree, this was a good overview and gave easily used methods for a variety of ages and stages of learning.
