This unit is difficult to study. When you read through it all becomes minute variations of the same thing. I wonder if there is a way to simplify it so that it isn't about memorizing terms and what they are referring to. I found it not the most useful chapter because it wasn't clear as to the value of the terms to a student taking English as a second language. It feels like the minuteness of it is more suited to a native speaker who is an English major.
