This unit addressed the two productive skills of language; speaking and writing and the importance of each. This unit also addresses the difference between accuracy and fluency as well as in which phases they are more focused on. From this unit I was also able to learn more about the importance of handwriting, spelling, layout, and punctuation and how to help students with each and what obstacles students may encounter when learning these skills. The speaking and writing lesson examples provided in this unit were also helpful to see.
