In unit 20 I learned the methods used by TEFL teachers when approaching a brand new class. The differences between an existing group and a new group were particularly interesting. As much as you'd want to get right into the lesson book provided, it is actually wiser to try to create a report with the students and get them comfortable in the classroom and with their fellow students. The information provided around the how to deal with larger classes put me at ease, as well as how to navigate classes that have different ability levels.
