This was honestly a tough unit to grasp completely. There were different sections, like annotations that dealt with tone, then others that dealt with tone and stressing syllables or where there's lack of stress within pronunciation. When i read over the material again and again, it helped, as did taking the actual test, due to seeing it in actual question and answer form. The phonemic forms were a real issue at first, but the question examples helped me to slow down how my tongue moves and sounds out words and it slowly came to me a bit better.
