Unit 15 reviews the different types of tests that educators can use in programs in order to understand the progress and level of the students in their English language development. There are four main types of tests. One, is the diagnostics test that the teacher uses at the beginning of the course to see where the students are at. Progress tests are given to measure the progress of the students and intaking material to plan for future lessons. Practice tests are given to help the students prepare for the final exam. Lastly, there are External exams that are determined and used depending on what program and area of learning the students are in.
