I learned how to classify the various ways future tenses can be used. I originally thought that the future simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous all dealt with timing in the future, but I learned that the present simple, present continuous, and 'be going' also all deal in future timing. This didn't necessarily make it easier for me, but at least i'll be able to teach it correctly! I also learned that the 'be going' and present continuous are the most used in everyday dialogue.
