Unit 7 gave be a visual for teaching english, which has grammar as the tree trunk and the functions and vocab as the branches and leaves. The lesson followed with pointers on how to teach vocab, grammatical structure, and language functions specifically. I learned there are activities that should be avoided when starting out with vocab, like debating and instead you could use simpler pictures, discovery, and mime. Unit 7 showed how to progress through the lessons, so that the students will follow along and not get lost due to a poor choice during the implementation process.
