In this unit I have come to realise that I have taken for granted everything I know about sentence construction. As someone who has used English as a means of learning, communicating etc. it has always come naturally to me to understand and know what comes before or after a noun or verb. It felt like going back to elementary/high school because you have to deconstruct and analyse the rules and sequences, how this will make me a better teacher. How I will be able to explain and help my future students understand some more complicated rules of the English Language.It is also nice to go back to the basics and refresh my memory, and this time learn not just for myself.
