In this unit, I've learnt about course books and lesson materials. There are two kinds of materials, one is authentic materials, which are programs, magazines, newspapers etc. And the other is created materials, which are crosswords, word search puzzles, role-play cards etc. And when it comes to course books, we need to treat it carefully. It's a good tool for teachers, it can provide a lot of help, but overuse it could lead to problems. There are lots advantages and disadvantages about the course books, good teachers should be able to mix the course books during teaching instead of totally depending on them.
