This unit is about evaluation and testing. There are numbers of ways to access a student's language level, such as tutorials, evaluation by the students and tests. In this unit, we are mainly focusing on tests. Placement test, progress tests, diagnostic tests, practice tests,and general external examinations. These tests can show us the student's English level also their study results. That's why we need to design all different kinds of tests to suit students' needs. We've also learnt about different kinds of external exams such as TOFEL, IELTS,etc, and the purpose of taking these exams.
