This unit, I've learnt about conditionals and reported speech. There are 5 different conditionals, which are zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional, third conditional, and mixed conditional. These could be difficult for students to understand so using right teaching methods can help them learn better, such as split sentences, complete the conditionals, chain conditional, etc. When it comes to reported speech and direct speech, we should pay attention on the time when we tell the other party about the speech. We need to pay attention to the verb tenses, pronouns, and time expressions. Learning this unit can help me under more about conditionals and reported speech which can prepare me better for teaching.
