This unit is about the different types of future tenses and the context in which they are used.In this unit I have learned that future meanings can be expressed with seven tenses. Those tenses are : the future simple , the future continuous,the future perfect, the future perfect continuous, the be going + infinitive , the present simple and the present continuous. I've also learned that even though each tense has its well-defined usage context, students still easily get confused due to the similarities among those usages . for example when expressing a decision , the difference about the future simple and the be going to future is that the former indicates a decision made without previous proper planning (at the time of speaking) and the latter suggest the opposite.
