There are different opinions towards lesson planning. Some schools say that planning a lesson is not really useful, because it makes the lesson too teacher centered. but if you are an inexperienced teacher its simply impossible to make your lesson smooth and enjoyable without planning. it helps too feel more confident during the lesson as you can look at your lesson plan anytime to keep the track of the lesson. so, its better to choose the golden middle and make some notes of your lesson plan but still stay flexible.
