This unit was about pronunciation and phonology. It went over the importance of teaching pronunciation and how it impacts communication. It talked about how intonation and stress affect the meaning of a sentence, and how to demonstrate this to students. It also went over the phonemic symbols, the sounds they make, and how those sounds are created in the human mouth and throat. And finally it gave examples of techniques that can be used to teach correct pronunciation.
