This section was the most difficult for me to learn. Teaching pronunciation and phonology is difficult to learn and tricky to teach. Most students just want to have a conversation and it is challenging to know when is the right time to introduce and teach this section.
I would tend to teach it as on an "when required or as needed" basis so as to not break up the momentum of the class. However, pronunciation and phonology can be useful to more advanced students who want to truly understand the construction of the English language.
