Unit Seven covers methods and goals for teaching new language to students. It describes strategies and activities for introducing vocabulary words and grammatical structures to students. The section on language function seemed especially useful in terms of teaching because when put into those terms -- the need to invite someone to do something, or the desire to argue a point with someone -- students are likely to appreciate the practical value of proper usage in day-to-day conversation.
