Unit 2 effectively broke down the components of simple and semi-simple sentences. We noted that a sentence requires a verb and a noun, from there we saw the different components that could extend a sentence such as preposition, definite articles, indefinite articles, prepositions, adverbs, etc. This unit also effectively added me in solidifying my understanding of the differences between many of these components. One such is example concerns the difference between a superlative and a comparative adjective. This helped me break down and understand some of the intricacies of one of the many simple rules of the English language: the proper order of adjectives. The details of this unit added in my understanding of other matters and was extremely helpful.
