An overview of this unit shows the system and structure of past tenses is not so different from present tenses, except that past tenses obviously relate to past time periods. The unit elaborated on the various past tenses, their usage, sentences formed, and common errors associated with the tenses. The tenses are past simple, Past Continuous, Past perfect and past perfect continuous. I learnt that there are certain similarities in usage and form.
