This unit was especially impactful for me as it allowed me to get a critical perspective of the classroom setting. I was able to compare and contrast my own experiences as a student, as well as my expectations of the experience. I was able to reflect on the importance of body language and how impactful student engagement is. I was able to see how certain body language can be inviting and calm for the classroom setting, thus enabling the students to openly participate when instructed to.
