English verbs are divided into transitive verbs and intransitive verbs. A transitive verb is a verb that is followed directly by an object. A gerund is used in the same way as a noun. Pronouns are words that are used instead/in place of more precise nouns or noun phrases.Prepositions show the relationship between a noun or a pronoun and some other word in the sentence.
