The unit was exemplary in its description of different types of tests. I was able to understand well that there are different types of tests for different needs. I was able to learn about placement tests, diagnostic tests, practice tests, progress tests, etc. Learning the functions of each was especially helpful to identify when one would need to utilize them in the classroom. Also, learning what external tests or exams students may be preparing for is great insight for future classrooms where students will have specific needs regarding those assessments.
