This unit covered how to conduct a class, from giving instructions to setting up the class seating to discipline. One thing I learned was that whether the teacher is standing and walking around or sitting can have a significant effect on the classroom atmosphere and the comfort of the students, which is very detrimental to language learning. Because of this unit, I will try to incorporate more sitting when appropriate and when it would help the students' comfort in the classroom.
