Writing and speaking are equally important in mastering a language. Giving students plenty of exposure and opportunities to speak, read, and write is important. Some of the things I have learned in this unit are: in speaking, pronunciation needs attention because of different pronunciations in student's native languages. When writing, students may need special training with English letters because of the differences in their native languages writing. Allowing students to read a lot will help them with their spelling skills.
