In unit 6 I learned the four different past tenses: simple past, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. I learned about the different ways to elicit each tense and how to differentiate between the tenses. In addition, I learned that many common verbs have an irregular simple past tense form and students simple have to memorize them because there is no specific rule. Finally, I learned about common errors students make and how to correct them.
