This unit has helped me to understand how reasons behind problem behaviours and how to tackle such situation is a calm and professional manner whilst respecting school codes of conduct. I now understand the steps to follow to build rapport with students, effectively giving instructionsand behaviours to adopt when writing on board. This unit also helped me to identify when to get students to work in groups, pair or individually and the advantages and disadvantages in doing so.
