This unit covered the two productive skills; speaking and writing. The unit discussed reasons for communication, written or spoken, and the difference between accuracy and fluency. It went over types of speaking activities, and methods the teacher can use to get students to speak more and engage with each other, and gave examples of speaking activities. It also covered the challenges that are specific to writing and described a writing activity. Finally, the unit went over games and how they can be used to get students to participate more easily in writing and speaking activities.
