In terms of length, detail and complexity, the material in is this unit was the most over the top lesson and test that I have experienced since my law school exams. However, in an odd sort of way, I think it will help me be a better teacher because I have a much better understanding of the complexity of English sounds. I thought the section on stress was excellent, but was all the detail of the phonemic alphabet really necessary or helpful in any realistic way?
