A brief overview of unit 2 has taught me the importance of understanding, recognizing and classifying the different parts of speech in teaching English Language to learners so that words can be combined adequately to make sentences that are grammatically correct and readable. Examples of parts of speech treated include: Nouns, Adjectives, Articles, verbs, Adverbs, Gerunds, Pronouns, Prepositions/Conjunctions.
