In this latest unit we took a deeper look into materials and texts that can be used for a classroom setting. I was able to read and learn through the types of materials one can use as well as their advantages and disadvantages. The unit also focused on the pros and cons of using authentic materials as compared to using created materials. The unit also suggested which might advantage a teacher more depending on their own capabilities. Then there was a thorough run down of the benefits and disadvantages of textbooks and similar materials.
