This unit was very simple yet extremely eye-opening at the same time. I haven't had a straightforward lecture on grammar in a long while. I was familiar with all the topics and parts of speech, but not at all to this level. As any native speaker can say, our first language is second nature and we may not know why we speak as we do. This lessons provided the rules and logic behind speech that I use subconsciously. Being able to step back and see English from this perspective will undoubtably aid me in teaching English as a foreign language.
