This unit has taught me all about evaluating students' levels and progress. There are a number of ways to evaluate a student's language level and they include, tutorials, evaluation by the students and tests. There are also different tests that can be used to assess the language level of a student and their progress over the course. Placement or diagnostic tests are done upon entry and progress tests are done during the course. There is also usually one formal exam at the end of the course.
