In this unit, I have been able to reflect upon my practice as a teacher and my expectations related to the students. I could raise consciousness about many things I have already been adopting in the classroom environment, which is always relevant because I will certainly have more theoretical support during class. This way, I will be much more confident about the purposes of each activity that I propose. Besides thinking about my own practice, I could be reminded that it is very important to know my students and their needs and tastes. Only by establishing rapport I may build a more humane, effective manner to teach students.
