Unit 11 is all about Reading and Listening. I learned people have different reasons why they listen or read and how much they would focus. There are two categories- purpose and for entertainment. Each people has different skill when reading. Among those specialist skills, I always use detailed information to understand the text. Teaching receptive skills has potential problems that teachers must be aware. There are ways to solve potential problems. Teach unfamiliar words to students before the activity starts. Second, choose topics that will interest students. And give students tasks to motivate them to read.
