This unit taught me about effective and ineffective teaching methods and how the attitude of the teacher can really make or break the ability of students to learn well. The first video was almost painful to watch as the teacher seemed like he was angry for no reason. The second video was totally different in that he made the students feel comfortable right away and was able to carry that light mood throughout the entire class. The students therefore participated and learned more as a result.
