In unit five I learned about classroom management and what is important to bring to the classroom as a teacher. I learned about the correct ways in which to use eye contact, gestures, and my voice. I also learned about how important it is to know and use student names. There are also different ways to group students depending on the activities that are occurring in the classroom. A couple examples include: whole class, individual work, and working in pairs. Classroom arrangement is also important to effectively teach and monitor students.
