Unit 13 discusses pronunciation and phonology, and offers multiple approaches for teaching these to students... which seems appropriate, given that some students will be especially nervous about "messing up" in front of their classmates when trying to pronounce unfamiliar words. The basics of focusing on intonation are useful, as students probably gain an understanding of the meaning (or type) of sentence being spoken from the intonation used -- for example, questions versus emphatic statements.
