The unit covers the two productive skills , speaking and writing . Many people have viewed speaking with a lot of weight hence neglecting the writing skill but the unit shows that they are equally important. When people communicate using either of the productive skills they either want to say something , listen to something or are communicating for a purpose.
It also covers about accuracy and fluency during and when covering the two productive skills. Accuracy occurs in the study phase while fluency is in the activate stage.
