In this unit I've got useful suggestions on how to choose an English course book and, most important, how to analyze the course book in order to get the best from it. I've learnt that when choosing a course book a teacher must consider many factors and must be able to omit, replace, supplement or adapt the book to the students needs. Finally, I've seen the advantages and disadvantages of using a course book, authentic materials or created materials.
