After reading Unit 1, I learned a lot of things. I learned that a good teacher must be kind, patient, motivate learners, have a good subject knowledge, involve the students equally, knowing each student weaknesses and correct them without offending them. For me, I think the most important thing that a good teacher must have is he/she must love teaching in order to be an effective teacher. Teachers have different roles in the classroom and must be able to carry out those roles effectively.
Among the characteristics of a good learner, I learn one must have the desire to learn the language in order to accept mistakes or to be experimental. Students with motivations are more successful to learn the language than students with no motivations.
