In this unit, I learned about how to teach pronunciation. Its important to be able to explain the place, manner and voicing for each phoneme. However, this unit also taught me not to neglect overarching properties of the English language such as intonation and stress. This unit explains that pronunciation is one of the most challenging parts of learning to speak language, as reported by English language learners and, as such, should to be neglected.
