The unit focuses on the most common issues that an English language teacher encounters in the classroom. This includes suggestions on how to arrange the first lesson with a new group (whether or not the students within the group know each other or not), and how to establish rapport.
Other problem situation explained in details are: students with different levels in a group, large classes, reluctant students, use of native language and difficulties with listening texts.
After reading the unit I have gained some ideas on how to tackle each problem situation that may arise in the classroom.
