This unit gave me a basic idea about different methodologies of language teaching and lesson planning. There is no best method or technique and all techniques can be used by the teacher at some point for certain activities for the students of certain levels. The teacher needs to be flexible and creative with techniques, otherwise lessons are at risk to become boring and not effective. I found the explanations about error corrections very useful. It is not necessary to correct every mistake of every student immediately. Sometimes it is more important to pay attention to general fluency ( like during 'Activate' stage) than to every single grammar mistake.
