In this lesson, I learned the importance of teaching new language. I learned the importance of being able to understand what a word means before explaining it to the students as it is very important for them to understand so that they can use it in the right form when needed. In the engage phase, using pictures, drawings and using real objects are important so that students will be able to understand what those words are. In the study phase, students are able to learn pronunciation and sentence building. The activate phase involves the class as group in which they are able to role play and have class discussion and debate about a particular subject.
