Unit 6 is a review of past tenses in the English language. Much of the same rules apply to past tense as they do in the present tense. The major difference is the past tense is focused on events and time that has previously happened. As in unit 4, tenses are typically thought of as past, present, and future, but the structure of tenses in the English language outlines the subcomponents to further explain how tenses are used and understood.
