This unit talks about dealing with some potential issues that a teacher might face in the classroom. I found the advice on conducting the first lesson very useful. As it is emphasized in unit, during the first lesson it is not the language point that you teach that is important, but how you establish rapport with the students. If the teacher is able to establish a good relationship with the students and make the students feel motivated, then the course is much more likely to succeed.
