I'm from South Korea. A lot of the content in this unit2 I could relate to with my personal teaching experience in Korea. One of the things I feel strongly about is that Korean students are used to just listening and not encouraged to give an opinion or ask questions. As a result, most students get bored and can't focus in classroom. This is why no matter how much they study, their ability to speak English hardly improves. Encouraging the students to participate in activities to learn English with their peers should be beneficial and try to be careful not to embarass them when correcting their mistakes in front of their peers.
